How do I know when I need reading glasses ?
You may need reading glasses if you experience difficulty seeing clearly up close, such as books, newspapers, computer screens, cell phones, etc. This can manifest as symptoms such as headaches, eye strain, blurry vision, pain or tension around the eyes, difficulty focusing on close objects, difficulty reading for extended periods of time, etc.
If you are 40 years of age or older, you may be more likely to need reading glasses, as this is generally the age at which presbyopia begins to develop. Presbyopia is a vision condition that makes it harder to focus on close objects.
It's important to see an optometrist or ophthalmologist for a comprehensive eye exam if you think you may need reading glasses. They can determine if you need reading glasses and what correction is most appropriate for you.
Where are your eyeglasses made ?
The majority of our eyeglasses are designed in France by Maria Kharboutli and are manufactured in Taiwan by a small family business. We have been working with the same company since the creation of the House in 2004. Why Taiwan ? We chose this small island for its know-how, its high standards of quality, as well as the innovative materials and cutting-edge technology available at very competitive costs.
We have also been collaborating for several years with a family business in China with whom we produce our Kid's collections. Why China ? We selected this country because of its important expertise in the production of high quality materials for sunglasses such as ultra flexible TPEE material, an unbreakable and very resistant material less well mastered in Taiwan.
It has always been essential for our family business to offer unique, well-designed and affordable frames to wear in daily life.
How to know the composition of your glasses ?
The majority of our frames are made of injected plastic. It is a lightweight material that is comfortable to wear on a daily basis and is very resistant to impact and scratches.
Our toddler's sunglasses are made of TPEE (thermoplastic elastomer) without BPA. TPEE is a recyclable, non-toxic and hypoallergenic material that is safe for children. It is also soft, flexible and impact resistant, making it ideal for outdoor activities.

What types of optical lenses do you provide ?
Unifocals For close-up vision.
They have anti-scratch and anti-smudge treatments.
Bifocals For close-up vision in the sun, with a single pair of eyeglasses.
They have anti-scratch and anti-smudge treatments.
Anti-Blue Light To protect your eyes from screens.
They are available with or without correction and filter about 40% of blue light.
All our optical lenses are made of BPA-free acrylic. This material allows a great optical transparency and an important resistance to shocks.
What types of sun lenses do you offer?
Polarized sun lenses made of BPA-free acrylic. Our polarized lenses are anti-glare, anti-scratch and anti-smudge coated and have a UV400 Category 3 protection to protect your eyes from 100% UV rays. They reduce glare while increasing contrast.
Sun lenses made of BPA-free cellulose triacetate. Our sun lenses have a UV400 protection of category 3 or category 2.

How do I keep my glasses in perfect condition?
To keep your glasses in perfect condition, store them in their case when you are not using them. Store them in a dry place at room temperature: far from a heat source.
Clean the lenses with clean water. Gently wipe the lenses with a soft, clean, dust-free cloth to prevent scratching.
To clean all or part of your glasses, never use detergents, solvents, hydrocarbons, or corrosive products.
I would like to order reading glasses, what diopter should I choose?
In order to determine the eyesight you need, simply take a reading test. Download the test that you will find on each product page and print it, then try to read the text at a distance about 35 cm. Each text has its own eyesight, and yours will be the one corresponding to the text you will read without any difficulty. Try to always choose the lowest eyesight that is appropriate for you.
Here are a few tips on how to determine your eyesight:
- Use your old magnifying glasses or those of a relative when doing a reading test. Note : you will find out the corresponding prescription inside the temples of the eyeglasses.
- You will find out your eyesight on your ophthalmological prescription. If your ophthalmologist has prescribed eyeglasses for presbyopia, he or she will have indicated a positive number between +1 and +3.5.

How can I be sure that my order is registered?
Once your cart is validated and your order paid, you will receive an order confirmation email. If you did not receive this email, please check your spam folder. You can also go to your account on our website, tab "Orders" and access all your past orders.
Can I change/cancel my order?
If you have not received the e-mail about the package has left our warehouse, you can reach out our Customer Service by using the contact form or at +33 4 94 45 29 70 to modify or cancel your order. We will do our best to respond to your request.
Once you have received the e-mail confirming that your order has been handed over to the carrier, you will not be able to make any changes or cancellations. In this case, you will have to wait until you receive your shipment and proceed to its return.

Please consider if your package has been damaged or opened before opening it, take pictures of the outside and the contents. If it is a defect found upon receipt of your order, we invite you to contact us as soon as possible from our contact form.

Which shape should I choose? How do I try on a frame?
We advise you to find out the dimensions of the glasses you are interested in by clicking on "Technical sheet" on each product page. Thus, you will find the dimensions of the frame and lenses to help you make your choice according to the shape of your face. Don't hesitate to take the measurements of your own face as well. The nose gap varies from one pair to another. Choose a small nose width if you have a rather thin nose. Oversize frames are basically bigger than the others and are less suitable for thin and small faces. We detail the description of each model to give you as much information as possible to help you make your choice.
You can send us back most of our collections for free (except for Special Prices, Sales periods and Flash Sales) if you are in Metropolitan France. This way, you can easily try on the glasses at home and send us back the pair that doesn't fit.

What are the payment options offered by Maison K-EYES?
You can choose to pay for your order on our website by credit card, either via PayPal or via the secure payment platform Payline. For credit card payments, we use the 3D Secure payment service of Payline. All information transmitted from the www.k-eyes.com website to the payment system is systematically encrypted to ensure its confidentiality. In accordance with the European regulation relating to payments (DSP2), you may receive a transaction authorization request to validate the orders you place online. Why did my payment fail?
First of all, we invite you to check the transaction authorization request from your bank on your cell phone to validate your purchase.

How long does it take to ship the package?

How do I track my package?
When your order is picked up by the carrier, you will receive an email from the carrier containing the tracking link for your package. You also have access to your tracking link in your customer account, tab "My orders" then button "Details".
When will it be delivered?
The average delivery time for France is between 3 and 4 working days, and between 3 to 9 working days abroad (it may differ depending on customs formalities). You can also choose an express delivery by express carrier like UPS. We ship all parcels to home by Colissimo or by express carriers with a tracking number and with or without signature.
What if I am not around at the time of delivery?
Delivery by Colissimo: The carrier will leave the parcel in your mailbox if possible, otherwise he will leave a notice so that you can pick it up the next day in your post office (available for 15 days and then sent back to the sender if it has not been picked up in time).
Delivery by DHL: If you are not at home, the carrier will contact you to arrange a new delivery according to the details provided.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase and wishing to change your mind, you can make a return request from your Customer account online (via the tab Returns).
Simply return the product at your expense in its original packaging and with the same initial shipment mode (return tracking number will be required) within 30 days after receipt of the package and within the original state.
